1997年結成。4枚目のアルバム「EDGE OF SPIRIT」を日本では’09年OCH LABEL(現FURIOUS RECORDS)より、ヨーロッパでは’11年DEMONS RUN AMOK(ドイツ)より発売。
2011年10/11月、フランスはパリのRISE OF THE NORTHSTARとともにヨーロッパツアーを敢行。2012年にはDARKEST HOURと日本をツアー。
海外のコンピレーションにも数本参加。現在5枚目となるNEWアルバムを制作中。
Edge Of Spirit was formed in 1997, and started playing shows in Osaka area. Signed with Indivisual Records/Sony Music Entertainment and put out 1st record “Screaming For The Truth” in 1999, as for now the sales counts more than 15,000 copies, the album has been the Japan’s hardcore masterpiece since then. Being grown by both hardcore and metal music, the band made it to create hardcore music mixed with Scandinavian metal and has originated its style. The band relocated to Tokyo in 2000 and got on full Japan dates with Arch Enemy on 2004, The Haunted, Nile and Exodus on 2006. Toured with/opened up for The Acacia Strain, Agnostic Front, Bleeding Through, Full Blown Chaos, Madball, Maroon, Merauder, Napalm Death, Skarhead, Vader to name a few. They released 4th full-length in Japan through Furious Records in 2009 and in Europe through Germany-based label Demons Run Amok Entertainment in 2011. Then toured all over Europe with French hardcore band Rise Of The Northstar. They’re currently preparing new album due out summer 2014.
